Risky Tower?

 

Risky Tower is based on the popular game Jenga (official website), created by Leslie Scott and marketed by Hasbro. This project does not want to violate the registered trademark of Jenga and any other copyrights there may exist. This project wishes to acknowledge the immense creative potential Jenga has to offer and provide a fun, educational and social way to play Jenga with a risky touch.

 

Jenga is itself a game of risks and opportunities. A tower of wooden blocks slowly loses its consistency as one player after the other successfully extracts a block and places it on top of the others. Each player asses the risk of taking a particular block and the opportunity of successfully finishing his turn - for now. Block after block, the tower becomes more fragile, the game more risky. One way or another, one of the players will misjudge a block and make the tower collapse.

 

This project wants to twist this simple game rule by adding a social discussion to it, about the risks and opportunities in our everyday life. The goal is to make people share thoughts, stories and most of all, engage in discussions and ideas relevant to them, to their community and beyond.
